Adolescent Diversion & Assistance Program

To reduce or prevent future involvement of youth, ages 11-17 years old with the juvenile justice system.

Camp Mariposa

Camp Mariposa is a program designed to help meet the needs of children (9-16 years old) facing the difficult challenges associates with an addicted or co-dependent family member.

Children’s Crisis Team

JFCS, in partnership with The Florida Center, provides a 24/7 Children’s Crisis Team serving children and their families in Sarasota County.

Counseling for Children and Adolescents

JFCS provides counseling and social services for children and adolescents.

Psychological Testing

Children, adolescents, and young adults. (ages 4 to 21)
Our Assessment Center staff conducts evaluations in a confidential and child-friendly environment for at-risk children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who are experiencing emotional and behavioral issues.

School Based Programs

School Based Programs / Safe Alternative to Out-of-School Suspension Program (SATOSS) provides services to at-risk youth at Emma E. Booker, Heron Creek, Booker and McIntosh Middle Schools and  Booker High School in Sarasota County.

Summer Enrichment Programs

JFCS Summer Programs involve middle school youth, ages 11-14.
