The Community Chaplain facilitates visitation programs for unaffiliated Jews at local hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes, directs JFCS’s Bereavement Support Groups, supervises the agency’s Friendly Visitors and prison ministry programs, and participates in the Jewish Aging Mastery Program, a national pilot program offered in conjunction with The Patterson Foundation. This position is made possible by a grant from The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee.
Serving individuals and families in the Jewish Community who have experienced an unexpected financial crisis. A case manager will review each client situation and connect them to financial resources, create a working budget and financial goals to help get back on track.
